Our Philosophy

Roaming Acres Farm was established in 2005 by Todd Appelbaum. Todd owns and operates the 100 acre farm in Sussex New Jersey. He raises ostrich, bison and Berkshire hogs. Roaming Acres offers a healthy alternative to factory farmed meats. The animals are free range and fed a 100% vegetarian diet. Nearly every part of the animal is used in processing. Our products, which are for people and pets, are sold at different markets in New York and New Jersey. We also gladly accept phone orders. Whether looking for quality meats, jerky, pet treats or ostrich oil, Roaming Acres offers excellent products for you and your pets.
