Which carrier do you use?
Our products are shipped via UPS. We strongly recommend that you send your package to a work address or arrange for someone to be at your house to receive your package, to avoid spoilage. UPS does not require a signature for your package, so it will be left on your doorstep if you are not at home. If using Ground shipping, see map below for your estimated delivery zone days to deliver:
When are orders shipped?
Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday. All orders received after 1:00 pm will be processed the next business day. Orders that require a two-day travel time will ship out Monday through Wednesday only. There are no Saturday deliveries.
How is my order packed?
Packages are intended to keep products cold for 48 hours. Depending upon where you live, Overnight or Two-Day Air may be required for your package to arrive in optimal condition. We use an insulated inner cooler box with gel ice packs to ensure meat is preserved upon delivery.
Are your products shipped fresh or frozen?
In order to maximize the integrity of our products, items are frozen. This ensures quality and consistency during transit.
The following states are not available for ground shipping: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
***Also, anyone located South of Maryland, West of Pennsylvania or on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass, you must choose 2nd day or overnight air service. NOTE: PET PRODUCTS CAN ONLY BE SHIPPED TO NJ, NY, PA & CT.
What if there is a problem with my order en-route?
It is possible for products to slightly defrost during shipping, which is normal. You can re-freeze products if you are not going to cook items immediately, which will maintain the integrity of our products. The temperature in the shipping box should be 40 degrees or less (as cold as your refrigerator). This is considered a safe temperature for consumption and will not compromise the quality of the product.
If you receive a box that has an internal temperature of 41 degrees or higher, or the packages are warm to the touch, please contact us as soon as possible via email firstname.lastname@example.org. or call our office, 973-647-7285. Our Customer Service Department is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time.
Roaming Acres will ship anywhere in the United States. We urge you to double check your address and zip code when placing your order, as we cannot guarantee any refunds due to incorrect address. The customer will be responsible for any new shipments. Any claims for shortage, damage or condition will not be honored unless the problem has been reported to email@example.com within 24 hours upon the receipt of the product. We will replace your item on the next shipping day.
Shipping & Handling Charges
There will be an additional charge per order plus the UPS shipping rate for any frozen food items of $24.
